Stefan Tilk joins the team as Chief Advisor New Business

Munich - Stefan Tilk (57) will join the FitTech Company team as of June 1, 2021. As Chief Advisor New Business, he will be identifying and developing new business areas, especially in the field of consulting.

"Stefan is the best candidate that we could have wished for! I am very impressed by his experience in the fitness industry, strong network, innovation, drive and first and foremost by his passion to create new things and encourage more people to live a healthy lifestyle", says CEO FitTech Company Natalia Karbasova.

Before he officially joins the team on June 1, Stefan Tilk will dive into the current industry trends as a host at this year's FitTech Summit, which takes place virtually from May 25 to 28. Among other things, Tilk interview Melanie Lauer (CEO Kettler by Trisport) about the current home fitness revolution.

Stefan Tilk started his career at TUI after completing a bank apprenticeship and earning a degree. He later worked as a manager at Deutsche Bahn and Bertelsmann, after which he joined Fitness First Germany as CEO and spent nine years repositioning the company for the digital age. After leaving FitNess First in 2017, he and his partner acquired franchise rights for Germany from the US fitness brand Anytime Fitness. He is still active there as a shareholder.
